Alissa is principle physiotherapist and founder of the Lissome family. Alissa has a passion for the physiotherapy field and pride herself in the outcomes of her clients. Alissa has always had a love for movement and activity with involvement in Swimming, Surf Life Saving and Running growing up on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

During high school Alissa competed in National Level running in the USA and with this fell into Triathlon where she was Australian Age Group Champion. Alissa graduated from Griffith University in 2009 with a double degree in Exercise Science and Physiotherapy. She has recently finished her Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and is finishing her masters this year.

Alissa loves treating anything that is movement related – from sport to everyday activity. She has created a number of technique courses which assist people in improving their recruitment and efficiency during sport.

Alissa found Lissome Physiotherapy in 2014 and Lissome Studios in 2016. These studios work hand in hand to improve peoples health and wellbeing – assisting them to become Active, Nimble and Agile!

Kalli Physiotherapist

Clinical Pilates Instructor

Kalli is a Physiotherapist, an Exercise Physiologist and a Pilates Instructor. She has been a health professional delivering exercise prescription for 8 years.

She graduated from the University of South Australia in 2010 as an Exercise Physiologist and completed a Doctor of Physiotherapy program at Bond University.

Her main areas of interest are with postural dysfunction, postpartum musculoskeletal issues and upper and lower limb biomechanics to resolve pain or discomfort.

Kalli also thoroughly enjoys working with people of all ages, shapes and sizes to get people living healthy lifestyles. “Exercise is a lifestyle” is one of her frequent expressions!

She has participated in courses focusing on Pilates, Dry needling and Acupuncture and lower limb biomechanics.

Kalli is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and the Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA).

She loves spending time getting out in the sun playing tennis, going for a run, having chats over coffee with friends & family and taking cooking lessons.

Andrew Physiotherapist

Physiotherapist (B Ex. Sci./MPhty)

Sophie graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy, from Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2018. Previously she did her Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at James Cook University in Cairns.

She grew up in Far North Queensland, and spent a lot of time wake boarding and now that she’s moved to the coast has a love for surfing.

She has always loved being outdoors and has a passion for helping people get back to being active. Sophie has an interest in sport and gym related injuries, but enjoys helping every individual on their road to recovery.

Ami is a physiotherapist and a member of APA. She has been delivering this service for 9 years.

She graduated from India at Gujarat university in 2010 and completed full registration process for overseas trained physiotherapist in Australia in 2019.

Her main areas of interest are with Biomechanical dysfunction, correcting muscle imbalance and improve biomechanics of clients presenting with various musculoskeletal conditions.

She enjoys her role by delivering the best quality of care and believes motion is lotion.

She has participated in various courses such as Maitland and Mulligan concept focusing on spine and pelvic region to improve treatment outcome.

She loves travelling, exploring different culture, reading spiritual books and spending time with family and friends.
